WINTER DEBRIS COVERS
Our winter debris covers are normally manufactured 1’ larger than the pool all around the perimeter from a woven polyethylene UV stabilised material. This forms a protective layer over the pool, reducing the risk of frost damage to the pool underneath and discolouration from leaves and other debris that may fall into the pool during winter.
Winter debris pool covers are supplied in a green/black finish with three fixing types, Premium, Deluxe, and Flush-Fix. Premium fittings are made up of “P” anchors complete with “D” ring and buckles. The Deluxe fitting is a combination of a “P” anchor with an integral stainless steel spring and slide bar buckle.
White plastic plugs are provided to slot into the holes when the cover is not in use. The brass Flush-Fix anchor fitting comprises of an in-ground brass fixing which can be set into the paving or any surrounding concrete area with a stainless steel spring and slide bar buckle. Premium and Deluxe fittings require a 6mm drill, whilst Flush Fix require a 20mm drill.

When calculating the cover size required, use exact size of pool in feet or metres and add an extra 2ft to each dimension (ie. Pool size = 16’ x 32’ then cover size = 18’ x 34’), then round off to the nearest square metre (if your measurements are in feet and inches they can be converted to square metres by multiplying the square foot size obtained by 0.0929).
Strap spacing is normally between 0.9m-1.5m (3’-5’) on the width and 1.2m-1.5m (4’-5’) along the length. A 15% surcharge is added for straps at 3’ spacing. A 40% surcharge is added for straps at 0.6m spacing.
All winter debris covers are packed in boxes, with sizes as follows:
0.91m x 0.46 x 0.61m (3’ x 1.6” x 2’)
or 0.97m x 0.67m x 0.52m (3’2” x 1’8” x 2’2”)
