TELESCOPIC POOL ENCLOSURES

SOLE OFFICIAL
UK AGENTS FOR

OFFICIAL UK AGENTS FOR

These telescopic pool enclosures are designed to give each client exactly what is best for their needs, clients aren’t restricted to sizes and therefore we don’t publish a price list.

The enclosures are manufactured to any length, width or height and our full choice of 180 colours will suit each and every client.

We can offer a no obligation design visit and quotation service - all we ask is that you have a genuine interest in having one of the specialised enclosures and feel comfortable spending the money.

Site visits are not restricted in time, but tend to last between one and two hours, during which we can take precise measurements and digital photographs of the site.  Various options can be discussed which might be suitable for both the site itself and you, the client.

Following the site visit accurate scale drawings can be produced, explaining all aspects of our proposals together with an exact quotation based on your requirements.

These telescopic pool enclosures can raise your swimming pool water temperature by up to 12 degrees celcius.

There are various designs available in this large range of telescopic pool buildings and also offer fixed pool buildings as an alternative.

All enclosures are available with either vertical side walls (3 angled) giving more head room at the sides, or a combination of both vertical, and 45 degree angled side walls (5 angled).

The various different options.....

Low Buildings
Normally built purely to cover only the water and to keep debris out, helping to raise the water temperature and creating a much nicer swimming environment in the colder months.

Medium Buildings
Can offer additional height as well as giving the benfits of a low building.

High Builidngs
Offering the above benefits but the extra height normally means extra width allowing a very nice relaxation area around your swimming pool.  High buildings can be totally freestanding with options to move it all the way to one end or to move it both ways from the middle back to each end. Another option is to attach one end to a poolhouse or your house or even between two fixtures allowing you to walk into your enclosure from inside.

Lean To Buildings
These telescopic enclosures can attach one side onto a high wall by fixing tracks to a high wall and allowing the building to move along the wall on one side and along the ground on the other side.

Mixed Height Buildings
For clients who want a low building but also like the idea of having the benefits of extra height at one end of the building.

Sliding Doors
Are normally sliding within the inside part of the building keeping the weather away from the moving mechanisms - available on ends or sides of our enclosures.

Tiltable Panels
Can be fitted to the ends of an enclosure, operating like an up and over garage door.

Concertina Folding Doors
Are an option to any end of a telescopic enclosure offering bigger openings for ventilation and access.

Ventilated Safety Doors
An option which can be installed at ends of enclosures allowing ventilation but denying unwanted entry by children or others.

Fixed Ends
Can have glazed panels installed with or without door openings.

Solar Powered Motors
Touch button luxury option of electronic moving operation.

Air Heating Systems
Different options available to suit clients should they be required.

Mixed Heights

One end much higher than the other - giving a nice relaxation area at the higher end.

As big as you like - commercial size.  Normally central opening for easier operation.

Maximising headroom on each side.

Structural Features

Structural Framework
Manufactured from aluminium alloy AIMgSi Group 6060T6. A wide range of extrusions available to safely span up to nearly 20 metres in width and practically any length - the biggest up to now is 60 metres.

External Finish
Powdered polyester, coated strongly by electrostatic multi-layered spraying to give a smooth appearance in up to 180 colours.

Roofing
250 times stronger than glass. LEXAN THERMOCLEAR.
Manufactured by General Electric Plastics in a double wall cellular structure to ensure minimum loss of natural heat gained during the day.  6mm thickness gives optimum co-efficient for temperature increase due to the greenhouse effect.
It is treated to guard against the suns UVA rays to help keep your swimming pool free from any heavy growth of algae or mould.  LEXAN is virtually unbreakable.

Side Walls
Crystal clear tough Polymethyl Methacrylate (PLEXIGLASS) is much safer than any other form of glazing and easy to maintain.

Weatherproofing
Antistatic synthetic fibre sealing brushes used throughout the building to help keep out the wind, leaves, dust, snow and rain to give you a nicer indoor type feeling.

Rollers, Guides and Joining Elements
To enable easy, smooth opening and closing, a no-track/rail free system is used, giving a much safer ground surface when opened up.  Each section has 4 pairs of large diameter nylon wheels, mounted on stainless steel spindles inside stainless steel sealed roller bearings, to ensure this easy glide operation.
Each section of the building is connected to the next one by a system of counter guiding, fitted inside the bottom rails and once again stainless steel is used for longevity.

Temporary Fixing To The Ground
To prevent winds from moving your enclosures, stainless steel quick release fixings are installed, requiring minimum effort to attach or detach whenever necessary.

Glazed Back Panels Of Buildings
Can be fixed with or without sliding doors or fitted with concertina folding doors.

Glazed Front Panels Of Builidings
Can be fixed or have concertina folding doors or have a tiltable panel fitted like an up and over garage door.

Foundation Requirements
These buildings are made to a very large structural safety margin, but do not require deep foundations.  The existing pool patio usually suffices (providing it is relatively smooth), but idealy a 10cm concrete base enables the winterising tie down bolts to be properly anchored.  We can suggest during the site visit if some groundwork is advisable.  We can carry out groundworks if required, or alternatively can sub-contract to a local contractor if preferred.

Building Control
These buildings comply with Building Regulations for planning purposes.  In respect of wind and snow loading and also fire resistance of the roof.

Planning Permission (not normally required)
These buildings satisfy the permitted development rules but we can advise if planning permission is necessary and if required will offer our services in submitting a planning application to the local authority and gaining approval.

New Swimming Pools To Be Built
We liase with good quality swiming pool builders throughout the UK and Ireland to ensure smooth progression of planning, designing, building and finishing off your complete pool and telescopic building projects.

Terms Of Business
Should the building not be required for several months only 10% initial payment is required to progress your order and freeze your price.  40% payment in total is needed some 6 weeks prior to the required installation date.  60% balance is then due on completion of your installation.
